I started studying photography in the 1980’s in Antwerp, Belgium. Because of my restless character, I soon gave up school and started traveling the world. Since the beginning of this century, I have worked as a tour guide in Africa and the Middle East. While traveling, I’m always on the lookout for a story that can be transformed into an article or a picture. In recent years I’ve published a number of such articles in different Dutch magazines, travel guides and on websites, always seasoned with the right pictures. A lot of my images have been used for brochures and postcards, a smaller selection can be found in newspapers and magazines worldwide.

I consider myself an amateur photographer with ambition. Portrait photography is what I do best, reportage and documentary is what I like most.
